Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the Agronomy Sales Representative with crop scouting, soil sampling, and field agronomic problem solving.
  • •Design, monitor, and summarize farm trails to provide information to customers and the agronomy team working with CHS producers.
  • •Use integrated pest management techniques to determine treatment thresholds and maintain compliance with environmental and safety policies.
  • •Generate written reports and present findings to supervisors and/or customers.
  • •Learn agronomy products and services, assist with over-the-counter sales and product delivery, and support warehouse and agronomy plant operations.

  • •Currently enrolled in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or other Agriculture related degree program.
  • •Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
  • •Ability to assist with crop scouting, soil sampling, and field agronomic problem solving.
  • •Ability to learn and use Agris for invoicing and inventory management.
  • •Ability to work in a manner compliant with state, local, and CHS Environmental and Safety policies.
