Job Summary

Lead and direct plant maintenance coordination for the 2nd shift, including managing and training maintenance technicians. Partner with the Maintenance Manager to implement maintenance policies and procedures while keeping the plant safe and clean. Oversee preventative maintenance and repairs, diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, plumbing, and PLC-related issues, and act quickly to minimize production downtime while following SQF and GMP requirements.

•Coordinate all aspects of plant maintenance and lead/direct maintenance technicians for the 2nd shift.
•Assist the Maintenance Manager to direct and coordinate maintenance policies and procedures while maintaining a safe, clean environment.
•Manage and oversee preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment.
•Quickly assess and troubleshoot equipment problems to minimize production downtime.
•Ensure maintenance employees understand and follow SQF Quality Management policies and GMP practices.

•Promote a ‘Safety First’ culture and develop/maintain an effective preventative maintenance program.
•Associates degree or college certificate, or 5+ years related experience/training in a food manufacturing environment.
