Maintain the BEUMER Group baggage handling ICS at CVG, performing routine and advanced maintenance across mechanical, electrical, and control subsystems. Troubleshoot faults, support system upgrades, and collaborate with engineering/OEM teams to improve throughput and reliability in a fast-paced airport environment.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Perform routine and advanced maintenance on BEUMER ICS components, including ICS elements, diverters, scanners, and third-party equipment used to interface with the system.
•Diagnose and resolve faults across mechanical, electrical, and control subsystems using structured troubleshooting methods.
•Respond to system interruptions caused by carrier jams, sensor faults, or control logic errors; execute resets and root cause analysis.
•Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance aligned with BEUMER Group standards and OEM documentation.
•Interface with BEUMER’s High-Level Control (SAC) and PLC systems to monitor performance and execute logic-based interventions.

Key Requirements

•Electrical or Mechanical Degree, Technical Certificate, or equivalent experience
•0–2 years of hands-on experience in automated material handling systems, preferably within airport or logistics environments
•Must be eligible to obtain and maintain airside security clearance
•Deep understanding of mechatronic systems, including sensors, actuators, motors, and controls
•Proficiency in BEUMER SAC systems, PLC programming (Siemens preferred), and fault diagnostics
