Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the strategy for the German business aligned with group objectives, local requirements, and risk appetite.
  • •Drive the integration of the acquiring business into FMPI, including ownership of plans, milestones, and outcomes while maintaining local governance and regulatory compliance.
  • •Align German business, operational, and control functions with target governance, systems, and risk frameworks; lead governance forums and resolve cross-functional issues.
  • •Act as a senior representative with BaFin and other regulatory authorities; oversee regulatory communications, inspections, notifications, and information requests.
  • •Ensure sound and compliant management of the regulated German business, overseeing audit findings, regulatory commitments, remediation, material risks, and management information oversight.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant executive leadership experience in a regulated financial services environment.
  • •Strong understanding of German regulatory requirements, including engagement with BaFin.
  • •Proven ability to lead within a regulated entity with strong governance, controls, and risk oversight.
