Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and build cloud systems that host ingestion pipelines, storage systems, and tooling for vehicle telemetry from onboard systems to the cloud.
  • •Normalize telemetry data across flight controllers, vehicle management, mission systems, and sensor payloads, then expose it to downstream analysis tools.
  • •Build reliable, high-availability cloud data systems capable of processing high-scale vehicle telemetry.
  • •Develop extensible telemetry and data architectures that enable integration of diverse data sources into standardized ingestion.
  • •Deliver cloud-native systems that are also edge-compatible, including capabilities for offline/air-gapped environments and support for classified environments.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 191,000 - 253,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Experience with modern lakehouse architectures (Iceberg, Delta Lake), ETL systems (Flyte, Dagster, Airflow, Argo Workflows), and distributed processing engines (Spark, Trino).
  • •Experience building and operating high-throughput streaming data pipelines using systems like Spark Streaming, Flink, and Kafka.
  • •Strong proficiency in Python, Java, Rust, and/or Go, with the team predominantly using Python & Rust for core backend services and pipelines.
  • •Experience building and operating cloud systems, including containerization/deployability tools like Docker and Kubernetes, plus GitOps systems such as FluxCD / ArgoCD.
  • •U.S. Person status is required; eligibility to obtain/maintain a US Top Secret clearance is desirable.
