Job Summary

Senior embedded software engineer for Nextpower’s R&D team, designing and delivering firmware and software for embedded devices in solar tracker systems. You’ll work cross-functionally with hardware and software teams, implement control solutions, write C code on bare metal/RTOS and embedded Linux, participate in Agile processes, and debug complex hardware-software interactions.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, and maintain firmware and embedded software that interfaces with advanced electronics controlling electro-mechanical systems.
•Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in C, in bare metal and RTOS platform, and also embedded Linux.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and products.
•Debug and troubleshoot complex software and hardware interactions to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
•Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
•5+ years of experience in embedded software development using Agile methodologies.
