Key Responsibilities

  • โ€ขReview design and test artifacts (e.g., schematics, PCB/CCA drawings, parts lists, test plans/procedures, and process templates) and ensure alignment to producibility, testability, and program requirements.
  • โ€ขDrive NPI readiness and DFM/DFT, resolve product and process issues via root cause and corrective actions, and embed Safety, Quality, and Lean improvements across programs.
  • โ€ขEstablish production readiness gates and go/no-go criteria; define production KPIs and deliver measurable outcomes for ramp rate, yield, and first-pass test success.
  • โ€ขCreate and maintain technical artifacts (site drawings, assembly/process flows, test fixture specifications, and process templates) to enable consistent builds across sites and suppliers.
  • โ€ขCreate risk mitigation plans across Safety, Quality, Manufacturing Processes, and Test; lead cross-functional scrums/meetings and mentor engineers, interns, and co-ops.

Key Requirements

  • โ€ขBachelor of Science degree in engineering/engineering technology (or related fields including manufacturing engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science).
  • โ€ข15+ years of experience with electronics product design.
  • โ€ข10+ years of experience using electrical schematics to design and troubleshoot test architectures with FPGAs, custom PCBs, benchtop equipment, and microelectronics unit-under-test.
  • โ€ข10+ years of experience working directly with manufacturing engineering, design engineering, and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools.
  • โ€ขTo meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a U.S. Person (per 22 C.F.R. ยง120.62) is required.
