Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and evolve Weapon System architectures, including concepts of operation, functional partitioning, interfaces, and system-level design.
  • •Develop complex Weapon System technical solutions and proposals balancing cost, schedule, performance, risk, and compliance.
  • •Provide technical leadership and governance across the development lifecycle to ensure designs and deliverables meet requirements and standards.
  • •Act as the principal technical interface for customers, partners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders during technical discussions and requirement trade-offs.
  • •Maintain Weapon Systems domain expertise and support Design Authority activities, communicating solutions effectively using system architecture tools and methodologies.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree-qualified in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline, with the ability to obtain and maintain UK SC clearance.
  • •Significant experience in senior engineering, systems architecture, technical leadership, or product development in complex technology environments.
  • •Proven expertise architecting and owning technical solutions across the product lifecycle for complex systems.
  • •Experience developing and delivering technical roadmaps aligned to technology, product strategy, and business objectives.
  • •Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with leadership capability to manage technical risk and influence senior stakeholders.
