Key Responsibilities

  • •Clean and sanitize production equipment and areas to ensure compliance with food safety and company standards.
  • •Perform dry pick-up of inedible materials from equipment and floors.
  • •Clean equipment using high-pressure hoses and execute cleaning and sanitation with approved chemical agents.
  • •Handle chemical agents (including defoamers), perform mixing activities per established procedures, and conduct pre-operational inspections.
  • •Follow USDA, HACCP, GMP, and all safety procedures including Lock-Out/Tag-Out; wear required PPE and complete additional assigned tasks.

  • •Willing and able to work in wet, humid, and extremely cold environments.
  • •Willing and able to work with cleaning chemicals, including caustic agents.

  • •Willing and able to work weekends and overtime as needed.
  • •Meet physical requirements including standing 8–10 hours, frequent walking/reaching/bending/kneeling/crouching/climbing, operating high-pressure hoses, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
