Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform site assessments prior to residential solar installation, collecting measurements, photographs, and structural/electrical data for solar design.
  • •Accurately assess roof conditions, electrical service panels, and property features using standardized tools and protocols.
  • •Climb ladders, walk rooftops, and conduct attic inspections as required; submit survey data using mobile field tools.
  • •Conduct post-installation inspection visits to confirm readiness for AHJ/utility approval and ensure installed systems match approved plans and meet workmanship, code, and safety standards.
  • •Coordinate with install teams/project managers and with AHJ and customers to resolve inspection-related issues and schedule inspections, while maintaining tools and safety equipment.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 33.4 - 44.54 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED required.
  • •Must hold a valid state-recognized Electrical Certification at the Journeyman, Wireman, or higher level, and be in good standing.
  • •Minimum one year of field construction experience preferred, with prior PV design, PV installation, or PV electrical experience (e.g., reading plans/blueprints, testing wiring/circuitry).
  • •Comfortable working on roofs and using ladders, including climbing/attic work in tight or elevated spaces.
  • •OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred; must be 21+, have a valid driver’s license, and maintain a clean driving record.
