Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the technical design and delivery of a multi-component AI system, accountable for the quality of what ships in your area.
  • •Define product behavior and build measurement and evaluation systems for non-deterministic results, including dataset definition and regression gating.
  • •Run continuous end-user evaluation across APIs/SDKs/data representations/reference apps; identify gaps (misuse, anti-patterns) and drive fixes.
  • •Build and maintain data pipelines and tooling for ingestion, conflation, entity resolution, quality checks, and batch/streaming jobs.
  • •Design feedback loops and instrumentation so product usage generates data to improve it; raise engineering quality through reviews and on-call participation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelors degree in a STEM discipline and 5+ years of software engineering experience with production ownership of services, pipelines, or SDKs.
  • •2+ years shipping LLM-backed features to real users with error budgets, on-call rotations, and regression visibility.
  • •Strong data engineering depth: SQL and at least one distributed processing framework, with pipelines where correctness matters more than speed.
  • •Fluency with tool calling and agent orchestration, including failure modes like stale context and hallucinated arguments.
  • •Strong Python or TypeScript, comfort reading code in the language the caller happens to be written in.
