Job Summary

Senior Emergency Response Specialist to monitor and implement Emergency Preparedness and Response programs across ENEC, ensuring readiness to respond to fire and other emergencies, minimizing employee exposure and impact on people, property, and reputation. Works with safety teams, leadership, and external stakeholders to assess risks, train floor wardens, and coordinate drills and compliance with UAE OSH and fire life safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Work closely with organizational safety teams, HQ operations manager and team leaders in implementing internal safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the best practices in the nuclear industry.
•Provide guidance and expert advice to leadership teams on all emergency response related policies, practices, procedures, and legislation.
•Perform and review risk assessments covering all ENEC sites to minimize impacts of emergencies and emergency response activities.
•Participate in the investigation of accidents and injuries and cooperate in the preparation of material evidence for the organization to use when making recommendations to prevent recurrence.
•Direct the implementation of strategies to effectively resolve problems with emergency management and emergency response activities.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in engineering, fire science, or safety related field
•5 years relevant experience with at least 3 years within an industrial organization, with exposure to power plants, oil and gas, and utilities
•Understanding of international and local safety standards
•3 years’ experience in a Safety specialist role or equivalent
•OSHAD rating: Level B; internationally recognized safety-related certifications
