Job Summary

Lead structural engineering and structural integrity work for mining and heavy industrial assets, combining detailed design with field-based inspections, integrity assessments, and remediation recommendations. Deliver concept, detailed, and brownfield designs for mining infrastructure and processing facilities, providing technical leadership for steel and concrete structures and fixed plant systems. Partner with mining clients across Queensland, support proposals and business development, and mentor structural engineers to grow the structural integrity capability.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead structural engineering and structural integrity projects across mining and heavy industrial assets.
•Deliver structural inspections, integrity assessments, condition evaluations, and remediation recommendations.
•Undertake concept, detailed, and brownfield design for mining infrastructure and processing facilities.
•Provide technical leadership for steel and concrete structures, materials handling systems, and fixed plant infrastructure.
•Mentor and develop structural engineers, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support proposals and client engagement to drive growth.

Key Requirements

•Degree qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering.
•RPEQ or eligibility to obtain RPEQ registration.
•Extensive experience in mining, resources, heavy industry, or asset-intensive environments.
