Job Summary

Experienced data scientist in a globally distributed AI/ML environment, you will train predictive models and GenAI-powered backends, partner with product and engineering teams, and own end-to-end data initiatives—from requirements to deployment—across Cloudflare’s Bangalore-based data platform. You’ll work with Python, React, TypeScript, vector databases, and modern AI infrastructure to drive business outcomes for GTM, product, and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Define, implement, and train statistical, machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI models
•Publish model scores, insights, and learnings at scale within the company
•Partner with business leaders, stakeholders, product managers, and internal teams to translate business goals into data-driven solutions using predictive analytics
•Understand data landscape (tools, tech stack, source systems) and work with data engineering to improve data collection and quality
•Lead hiring, growth, and mentorship of the Bengaluru data science team

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a quantitative field
•3+ years of data scientist experience in large-scale, PBs-scale environments with globally distributed teams
•Strong experience applying data insights and machine learning to business outcomes, particularly with Finance, Sales, and Marketing functions
•3+ years in a fast-growing SaaS environment is preferred
•Strong Python experience and proficiency with Spark, SQL, Tableau, Google Analytics, BigQuery, and related data tooling; able to process structured, unstructured, and semi-structured data
