Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage multi-disciplined engineering and project delivery teams, including a hybrid blend of in-person and remote members.
  • •Manage and monitor contractual obligations for engineering projects of varying size and complexity.
  • •Prepare project and engineering work plans, budgets, and schedules for studies, detailed design, and construction support.
  • •Monitor project cost, schedule, and quality performance and take corrective action as needed.
  • •Lead project meetings, drive meeting efficiency, supervise deliverables and project control functions, and proactively manage scope and change.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years’ relevant industry experience, or a Technical Diploma and 10+ years’ relevant industry experience (ideally with an engineering firm).
  • •Demonstrated experience pursuing and winning opportunities in Canada with a strong reputation in the Canadian mining market.
  • •Project management responsibility for at least three feasibility or prefeasibility studies with capital value +$100M.
  • •Experience in both open pit and underground mining is an advantage.
  • •Fluent spoken and written French and English capability; Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation and PMP certification are preferred.
