Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain detailed cost plans and estimates through design and delivery phases using benchmarks and technical documentation.
  • •Produce and present monthly cost reports, executive summaries, and funding data to stakeholders.
  • •Coordinate cost information sources (design teams, GC, subs, vendor quotes) for validation and auditing; compile built cost records for benchmarking.
  • •Lead procurement strategy development, contractor/subcontractor pricing reviews, scope validation, and commercial negotiations.
  • •Own change control and manage post-contract cost variances, including cost risk analysis, scenario planning, and contingency management; ensure cost control systems are in place (including EVM where applicable).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.
  • •5–7+ years in cost management/project controls within mission-critical environments (data centers, high-tech, industrial) on medium to large projects.
  • •Construction consultancy experience strongly preferred.
  • •Solid understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, cost control systems, and Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • •Procurement strategy and commercial management experience with contractor/vendor contracts; RICS accreditation or progress is advantageous.
