Job Summary

Perform advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of plant equipment to support continuous production in a manufacturing environment. Install and overhaul equipment, conduct preventative maintenance, analyze performance issues, and complete work orders with CMMS documentation (MP2). You’ll also train and mentor operators and mechanics, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components (AC/DC), and execute precision welding and fabrication tasks using MIG/heliarc and plasma/shear/brake equipment.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform installation, overhaul, and preventative maintenance on assigned plant equipment to keep operations running efficiently.
•Analyze equipment performance, identify defects, and initiate repairs before major breakdowns.
•Complete maintenance work orders and maintain accurate documentation within the CMMS system (MP2).
•Support installation and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical components, including AC and DC systems.
•Perform precision welding and precision cutting/fabrication using MIG wire-feed and heliarc techniques, plasma torch, and sheet metal fabrication equipment.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 33.82 hourly

Key Requirements

•Completion of a two-year technical degree in industrial mechanical maintenance with at least 5 years as a Maintenance Mechanic B, or at least 8 years of demonstrated experience in the role.
•Strong knowledge of plant electrical power and control systems, including troubleshooting and repair.
•Demonstrated expertise in welding, fabrication, and machining in a food manufacturing environment.
•Ability to perform preventative maintenance and interpret technical manuals.
•Experience using CMMS systems for maintenance tracking and work order completion.
