Key Responsibilities

  • •Enforce Crusoe Operations Standards across third-party colocation provider sites in North America via audits, physical inspections, and documentation reviews.
  • •Own colocation partner operational governance: manage provider communications and escalations for incidents, outages, chronic deficiencies, and vendor performance under MSAs/SOWs/SLAs.
  • •Oversee facility and technical systems alignment for power, mechanical, fire/life-safety, and physical security, including review/approval of methods of procedure (MOPs) and maintenance schedules.
  • •Oversee commissioning and acceptance testing of new colocation suites, cages, and data halls prior to Crusoe Cloud go-live; support capacity planning and power/space utilization tracking.
  • •Maintain regional risk management by reviewing provider root-cause analyses, tracking corrective/preventive actions to closure, and coordinating operational response during emergencies and business-continuity events.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • •8+ years of experience in mission-critical data center facility operations, including 3+ years managing multi-site or colocation-based operations at scale.
  • •Strong working knowledge of critical infrastructure systems including UPS, generators, switchgear, CRAC/CRAH chilled-water cooling, fire/life-safety, and BMS/EPMS platforms.
  • •Proven experience managing third-party vendor and colocation relationships, including SLAs, MSAs, and governance cadences.
  • •Working knowledge of NFPA (70/70E/72), NEC, OSHA regulations, and North American utility interconnection practices.
