Key Responsibilities

  • •Take ownership of in-service test equipment (COTS and STTE) and ensure availability, reliability, safety, and operational capability across sites.
  • •Maintain equipment calibration, servicing, repairs, and asset records using SAP.
  • •Improve and introduce electrical and electronic test equipment, including upgrades to address obsolescence and enhance capability.
  • •Lead and carry out hardware activities using circuit designs, wiring schedules, specifications, and engineering documentation.
  • •Diagnose and fault-find complex test equipment to component level and support engineering changes, technical tasks, concessions, and off-site investigations/trials.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 53,600 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline (or closely related) or equivalent experience.
  • •Experience with fault-finding and diagnostics with strong attention to detail.
  • •Experience supporting and working collaboratively across engineering teams and associated support staff.
  • •Ability to lead ownership of in-service test equipment and ensure it remains available, reliable, safe, and operational.
  • •Experience maintaining and improving electrical and electronic test equipment, including upgrades and obsolescence responses.
