Key Responsibilities

  • •Install telematics systems and devices on vehicles, construction equipment, heavy equipment, and customer assets
  • •Operate machinery at times for testing during installation
  • •Confidently remove and replace ignition systems without custom keypad/controller and integrate communication between keypad and telematics systems
  • •Troubleshoot installation problems by gathering/analyzing information and developing alternative solutions
  • •Travel to client sites or EquipmentShare rental yards for installation cases, including occasional evenings/weekends

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certificate preferred
  • •Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools; mobile electronics installer/automotive electronics technician experience is a plus
  • •Ability to travel to client sites or rental yards within 250 miles of the local branch, up to a week at a time
  • •Ability to drive and perform physical tasks including maneuvering in tight spaces, bending/squatting, walking long distances, and lifting 25+ lb
  • •Clean driving record, pass a background check, and be willing to complete a 10-panel drug screen
