Job Summary

Operate transport and haul trucks safely and efficiently, delivering aggregates and construction materials to meet business needs. Use end dumps and/or belly dumps (with or without pups), maintain time and material records, and follow verbal and written instructions. Maneuver and back with a pup trailer, connect/disconnect trailer equipment, and communicate effectively via two-way radio while adhering to safety procedures and driving requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate transport and haul trucks safely and efficiently to deliver materials and equipment as designated by business needs.
•Demonstrate thorough operational knowledge of end dumps and/or belly dumps (with and without pups) and related equipment.
•Keep time and material records and follow verbal and written instructions.
•Maneuver and back with pup trailer, including connecting and disconnecting the pup trailer.
•Communicate effectively on the radio system and maintain incident-free driving and adherence to safety procedures.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required, with one to two years of related experience and/or training (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
•Must possess a valid state commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class A.
•Must possess a valid Medical Card as per DOT standard.
•Preferred endorsements: Air Brakes, Manual Transmission.
•Ability to operate end dumps/belly dumps safely, keep time and material records, follow instructions, and communicate via two-way radio.
