Job Summary

Migrations Solutions Architect in Australia leads the end-to-end pre-sales migration cycle for Snowflake across APJ, translating complex legacy data environments into migration strategies. Key Responsibilities

•Own the full pre-sales migration cycle for Australia: opportunity shaping, technical scoping, effort estimation, and economic deal reviews.
•Act as the primary technical advisor to customers evaluating Snowflake migration — engaging both technical and executive stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
•Partner with APJ sales executives and account teams on migration opportunity development and overall account strategy.
•Apply AI-first tooling — SnowConvert (deterministic) paired with Cortex Code (LLM-powered) — to accelerate migration assessments, delivery estimations, and proposal quality.
•Scope ETL and data migration complexity across a range of legacy tools and platforms (Informatica, SSIS, Teradata, Netezza, etc.)

Key Requirements

•University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field — or equivalent experience.
•Minimum 8 years of experience in a solutions architect, data architect, or data engineering role, with significant exposure to data warehouse migration.
•Demonstrated pre-sales or solution engineering experience: scoping, estimating, and presenting migration proposals directly to customers.
•Hands-on experience with SQL, ETL transformation, and cloud data warehousing (Snowflake strongly preferred).
•Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
