Key Responsibilities

•Layout analysis for DTCO on stdcells and provide guidance/comment.
•Interface with design teams across AMD to capture Process Design Kit (PDK) requirements.
•Develop and install key technology files including DRC, LVS, Spice, PEX and EMIR; design regression tests to increase QA coverage of PDK.
•Benchmark PDKs across manufacturing partners and monitor PDK testing to prevent design flow interruptions.
•Communicate PDK requirements to foundry partners and document all PDK releases to AMD teams; triage issues and drive to resolution.

Key Requirements

•MSEE/MSCS with minimum 5 years’ experience or BSEE/BSCS with minimum 10 years’ experience; proven experience in DTCO of stdcells, PDK, DRC, LVS, PEX, EMIR analysis, DFT, and semiconductor designs
•DTCO of stdcell design and layout analysis
•Proficiency in industry-standard EDA tools for PDK, DRC, LVS, Virtuoso, parasitic resistance, capacitance extraction (PEX), capacitance modeling, EM and IR Drop analysis
•Experience with IR Drop analysis techniques and SPICE simulation
•Proficiency in Unix shell environments, Perl, and Python scripting
