Key Responsibilities

  • •Own Sword’s Applied AI platform roadmap, from strategic initiatives and innovation bets through platform upkeep.
  • •Work at the intersection of AI and product management with hands-on agent, evals, and observability work.
  • •Own trade-offs across cost, latency, quality, and decide when to move to open source models or build in-house.
  • •Scope initiatives with Engineering, AI, and Product teams and balance reusability with differentiation.
  • •Execute by iterating with Engineering, Product, Clinical, and Operations to keep deliverables aligned with high-value member experiences, including safety and quality after release.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years in product management, including recent hands-on ownership of an AI-powered product.
  • •Significant technical depth in AI, especially generative AI (models, prompting, retrieval, and agent architectures).
  • •Experience putting LLM-based features in front of real users and handling evaluation, annotation, observability, and failure modes.
  • •Can discuss and follow through technical decisions to what members actually experience.
  • •Ability to manage and grow a small product team.
