Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the roadmap for Pulumi Cloud platform services, partnering with engineering leadership on long-term bets and near-term sequencing.
  • •Define what “agent-ready” means for the control plane, including safe config reading, credential handling, blast-radius scoping, and audit trails security accepts.
  • •Drive the ESC roadmap for configuration and secrets flows, including atomicity/consistency guarantees and making ESC the default experience.
  • •Own the trust boundary across permissions models, RBAC granularity, and auditing, treating it as product rather than compliance overhead.
  • •Shape the registry and components ecosystem and treat APIs (OpenAPI surface, service provider, webhooks, and VCS integrations) as first-class product surfaces, instrumenting metrics and driving end-to-end delivery to GA.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years in product management, engineering, or technical program management with hands-on platform, API, or infrastructure product experience.
  • •Strong API and platform design judgment, including resource modeling, versioning, backward compatibility, and error semantics.
  • •Comfortable in security and identity domains such as secrets handling, permissions models, tenancy, and auditing.
  • •Strong technical instincts and ability to partner with senior engineers on architectural tradeoffs, consistency guarantees, failure modes, and migrations.
  • •Track record of shipping high-quality products in ambiguous, complex problem spaces and working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Support.
