Job Summary

Maintain and service diving equipment and technical assets for GALAXEA dive centres across The Red Sea and AMAALA destinations. You’ll perform inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on life-support systems (regulators, BCDs, cylinders, compressors, and air filtration), coordinate cylinder testing and documentation, keep workshops and records compliant with safety and PADI standards, and support dive operations, inventory, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform routine inspection, maintenance, servicing, and repairs of diving equipment including regulators, BCDs, cylinders, masks, fins, wetsuits, and other life-support equipment.
•Maintain compressors, air filtration systems, cylinder filling stations, and associated equipment according to specifications and standards.
•Conduct cylinder inspections, coordinate testing and filling operations, and complete documentation to meet applicable regulations.
•Prepare, inspect, and issue diving equipment for daily operations, ensuring cleanliness, functionality, and safety for guests.
•Maintain maintenance records and asset registers, monitor spare parts and consumables inventory, and coordinate procurement when required.

Key Requirements

•Qualification or certification in dive equipment servicing, mechanical engineering, marine engineering, or a related technical discipline.
•3–5 years’ experience maintaining diving equipment in a commercial dive centre, resort, or marine operations environment.
•Strong knowledge of regulators, BCDs, compressors, cylinders, gas filling systems, and life-support equipment.
•Familiarity with equipment servicing schedules, preventive maintenance programmes, and asset management systems.
•Manufacturer certifications (e.g., Aqualung, Scubapro, Apeks, Mares) are highly desirable.
