Job Summary

Provide QA/QC and inspection resources, systems, and processes to support pre-order and post-order procurement activities for onshore capital projects. Prepare and review bid documentation, support tender and technical bid evaluations, and provide input on RFQs/material requests. Review E&I and electrical documents, coordinate vendor and third-party inspections, manage inspection records and reporting, and help drive corrective actions and root-cause analysis.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide QA/QC and inspection resources, systems, and processes to support pre-order/post-order procurement activities for project scopes.
•Prepare and review bid documentation; provide technical input to procurement, including RFQ/material request evaluation and technical bid evaluations.
•Review E&I and electrical documentation (I&C equipment and HV/LV equipment), and supplier/vendor documentation including ITPs and procedures; interface with vendors and the E&I engineering team.
•Coordinate and plan vendor and third-party inspections (call-off arrangements, inspector assignment, inspection packages, MRB records, and inspection invoice approval).
•Support quality closeout by reporting deficiencies/NCRs, facilitating corrective actions and root-cause analysis, and ensuring quality documentation is controlled and uploaded to the document management system.

Key Requirements

•Degree in Electrical Engineering.
•10+ years of Oil and Gas experience, including previous EPC experience.
•Exposure to HV and LV electrical equipment (switchgear and electric drives).
•Exposure to I&C equipment (transmitters, valves, control systems) and procurement support in EPC/PMC oil and gas projects.
•Working knowledge of E&I standards/codes and experience with HAZOPs, SIL reviews, and FAT (as required by the project).
