Lead credit oversight and portfolio management for a complex, growing Independent Power Producer (IPP) credit portfolio in U.S. Bank’s Power & Utilities Division. Manage non-recourse and corporate credit exposures across revolvers, term debt, letters of credit, and structured facilities, partnering with Relationship Management and product/impact finance teams to underwrite, close and expand relationships while governing portfolio risk and independent credit decisions.

•Provide independent credit judgment and portfolio risk governance for a growing IPP relationship portfolio.
•Manage a portfolio of corporate-level revolvers, term debt, letters of credit, and non-recourse finance facilities.
•Partner with Relationship Managers to retain, expand, and close new corporate banking credit relationships.
•Underwrite and manage all types of credit account exposure within the assigned credit portfolio.
•Respond to prospect/customer credit questions and present comfortably to senior management and credit committees.

•Demonstrate strong power & energy market knowledge (e.g., regulatory frameworks, merchant vs. contracted revenues, basis risk, asset-level risk drivers).
