Key Responsibilities

  • •Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and mechanical system/component solutions.
  • •Develop mechanical system architectures and components aligned with specifications and best engineering practices.
  • •Create and maintain system-level 3D models and 2D technical drawings, adhering to relevant standards (e.g., ASME Y14.100).
  • •Develop inputs for Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR), including SETR event support, comment adjudication, and stakeholder reporting.
  • •Support system development through integration, repair, maintenance, and technical data/change deliverables (e.g., TDPs, ECPs, BOMs).

Salary: USD 100,640 - 171,394

Key Requirements

  • •Interim Secret clearance required prior to starting; active DoD Secret clearance is preferred.
  • •Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering or related field plus 8+ years of experience.
  • •Proficiency creating 3D models and 2D drawings for components and complex multi-part assemblies, including sheet metal and welded assemblies.
  • •Extensive knowledge of SolidWorks, Creo, and AutoCAD.
  • •Experience with Technical Data Packages and configuration/change management (e.g., engineering change notices, BOM updates, problem reports).
