Key Responsibilities

  • •Produce key process engineering deliverables (Process Descriptions, Basis of Design, PFDs, P&IDs, datasheets and schedules).
  • •Plan and prioritise own work to align with project programmes and contribute to design justification reports.
  • •Develop and support early careers staff through guidance and review of work.
  • •Act as a Designer under CDM 2015 regulations and contribute to Safety Case development with engineering substantiation.
  • •Communicate design development effectively in meetings and written reports, ensuring fully integrated multidisciplinary design.

Key Requirements

  • •BSc or BEng in Chemical Engineering (Hons).
  • •Chartered or near Chartered with the Institution of Chemical Engineers.
  • •5+ years post-degree experience as a Process Engineer.
  • •Good awareness of the UK nuclear industry and regulatory environment.
  • •Experience with NEC/contract forms and delivery of process engineering work packages.
