Job Summary

Provide specialized nursing care for patients receiving home dialysis, including preparing and overseeing treatment from start to finish. Monitor and interpret patient vitals, records medical information, and respond to irregular dialysis reactions by notifying the appropriate medical team. Prime equipment, perform cannulation and catheter care, conduct home visit assessments, and teach patients and caregivers home-care needs, diet/nutrition/exercise guidance, and medication self-administration.

Key Responsibilities

•Prime dialyzer and bloodlines, cannulate accesses, and clean and dress permanent and temporary catheters for home dialysis care.
•Oversee dialysis treatment from start to finish; monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients and interpret/record information.
•Record patients’ medical information and vital signs; identify irregular dialysis reactions and notify appropriate medical team members.
•Provide pre and post procedure care, conduct home visit assessment for home hemodialysis admission, and follow nephrologist orders.
•Teach patients and significant others home-care needs and medication self-administration; facilitate communication with the patient and family and provide oversight to dialysis technicians.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing in home country.
•Active Basic Life Support training (certified).
•2 to 6 years working experience as Hemodialysis RN.
•Current valid registration in the country of training and/or country of last employment (Local License-PRC).
•Eligible for DHA / MOH licensing (DOH-HAAD Licensed).
