Job Summary

Leader in Illinois ITS with a focus on building client relationships, delivering complex transportation projects, and guiding a regional ITS team. Drives business development, coordinates cross-discipline work, and ensures high-quality, safe design and delivery of ITS solutions, including V2X, across the Illinois and Midwest markets.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as project manager, deputy project manager, or technical task lead for ITS projects.
•Grow our Illinois ITS team.
•Collaborate with Local Business Leaders and the National Business Line to drive business growth focusing on ITS and V2X.
•Perform marketing and business development activities within the region, including client intelligence, pursuits and proposal development, presentations, manpower and fee estimates.
•Represent the firm in client and industry events to promote capabilities and develop a pipeline of opportunities.
•Develop promotional and proposal material.
•Interface with staff from other disciplines to support a diverse range of projects across business lines.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 129,600 - 220,300 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, electrical engineering or related field.
•Minimum of 10 years of experience in transportation and infrastructure projects.
•Minimum 5 years leading, managing and mentoring teams of ITS engineers and technicians.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
