Job Summary

Safely execute maintenance work to prescribed standards, ensuring the safety of yourself and others. Carry out component shop equipment inspections and preventive maintenance, examine parts for wear, diagnose faults, and service and reassemble Pantera 1500I Drifters according to OEM standards. Maintain workshop and component records, troubleshoot breakdowns, and support heavy equipment repairs within established requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Follow health, safety, environment, and quality requirements, procedures, and legal regulations while performing maintenance work.
•Maintain component shop equipment through inspections and preventive maintenance, including component inspections and parts planning.
•Examine parts for damage or excessive wear using micrometers and gauges, and keep components available through inspection and testing.
•Diagnose faults and malfunctions and conduct Pantera 1500I Drifter service intervals, adjusting controls and systems to machine requirements.
•Dismantle and reassemble Pantera 1500I Drifters and heavy equipment components; clean, lubricate, troubleshoot breakdowns, and maintain component records.

Key Requirements

•Minimum of a Grade Twelve (Grade 12).
•Craft Certificate in HER from a recognised institution.
•Member of EIZ.
•Valid driver’s licence.
•A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a similar role.
