Key Responsibilities

  • •Evaluate, analyze, and design process systems and related gas and liquid infrastructure (pipelines, meter stations, compressor stations, and pump stations).
  • •Develop hydraulic models and station simulations, and perform material and energy balance work to support debottlenecking and efficiency projects.
  • •Specify mechanical equipment and piping materials (including sizing and thickness) and support process controls/instrumentation activities.
  • •Provide technical support for startups, troubleshooting, and plant expansions, including participation in PHA/Hazop, PSSR, and Management of Change (MOC) processes.

Key Requirements

  • •BS degree in Chemical & Mechanical Engineering from a 4-year accredited university.
  • •Minimum 3-5 years of experience in natural gas gathering, compression, processing, dehydration, fractionation, construction, and/or operations.
  • •Knowledge of midstream gas gathering and processing operations including compression, glycol/desiccant dehydration, treating, hydrocarbon recovery, and condensate stabilization.
  • •Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, regulations, and best practices (including API, ASME B31.3/4/8 and VIII, DOT 192/5, NFPA, etc.).
  • •Process simulation and pipeline modeling experience with tools such as HYSYS or ProMax, plus capability to interpret/design PFDs and P&IDs (and related diagrams).
