Key Responsibilities

  • •Use simulation tools to model the power stage of converters and analyze high-level system specifications.
  • •Design and verify control algorithms and signal processing algorithms in simulation.
  • •Support real-world verification and perform firmware (FW) verification of implemented control and signal processing algorithms.
  • •Verify developed algorithms using HIL simulation systems and maintain HIL simulation models.
  • •Maintain documentation quality, deadlines, and up-to-date records following the UTI-SYS work methodology.

Key Requirements

  • •Engineering or university degree in a science field.
  • •Academic experience modeling and designing controllers for applications such as solar inverters, wind power generation, energy storage, UPS, network quality, electric mobility, or electrical converters.
  • •Academic experience using power-converter modeling and simulation tools including Matlab/Simulink, Octave, PSIM, PLECS, and Simba.
  • •Experience with HIL verification systems such as Typhoon HIL (or other HIL systems).
  • •Ability to perform technical writing and communicate results clearly through documentation and technical documentation.
