Job Summary

Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical, PLC, HMI, robotics, and process control systems in an injection molding manufacturing environment. Keep molding machines and auxiliary equipment running reliably, perform preventive and predictive maintenance, diagnose downtime root causes, and support mold setup and startup. Read schematics and drawings, work with industrial safety and compliance requirements, and maintain accurate CMMS records while partnering with maintenance, process, automation, and quality teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Troubleshoot and repair electrical, PLC, HMI, robotics, and control system failures on injection molding equipment.
•Support and maintain injection molding machines and auxiliary systems used in molding cells.
•Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, P&ID drawings, and mechanical drawings.
•Program, modify, and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs.
•Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, identify downtime root causes, and implement corrective actions.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required.
•3+ years of industrial controls or automation experience in manufacturing.
•Technical degree or certification in Industrial Automation, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, Controls Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.
•Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, PLC troubleshooting, automation systems, robotics, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
•Ability to troubleshoot using multimeters, megohmmeters, oscilloscopes, and industrial diagnostic software.
