Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the technical strategy and architecture for inventory, logistics, and repair management software across POS supply chain systems.
  • •Lead ~25 engineers (including managers, QA, SRE, and Data Engineering) and support team growth up to 30+ members through hiring, mentoring, and development.
  • •Drive platformisation so operational data is visible, trustworthy, and consistent across millions of terminals globally.
  • •Define architecture standards, engineering processes, and quality metrics across squads to ensure reliability and data integrity.
  • •Translate operational requirements with business and operational stakeholders into engineering solutions, bridging operational practice and software systems.

Key Requirements

  • •10–15 years of overall software engineering experience, including at least 5 years leading engineering teams through growth phases.
  • •5+ years writing and shipping production Java code as a hands-on engineer (not only overseeing others).
  • •At least 5 years managing managers and leading an engineering organisation through other engineering leaders.
  • •Deep experience in supply chain, inventory, warehouse, or logistics software at scale.
  • •Strong backend and system design skills for data-intensive, distributed operational systems, including managing large teams of 20+.
