Job Summary

Oversee development planning and delivery for Ciena sales engineering workflows, acting as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the engineering team. •Anticipate client needs and serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders and development.
•Inspect and evaluate product progress; capture feedback to prioritize and define features/user stories.
•Coordinate partner and tool requirements for QuotePlus, maximizing incremental partner revenue and ensuring integration into the SE workflow.
•Support training/webinars and technical Q&A for sales engineering, including tracking bug fixes and implementing performance measurement and operational metrics.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications Technology, or related field, plus five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the offered job or a software developer-related occupation.
•60 months of experience with key networking technologies such as Optical, OTN, Ethernet, MPLS-TP, IP, SDN, or NFV and related applications/architectures.
•Experience with sales cycle and stage requirements.
•Senior/director level engagements across functions such as Commercial, Engineering, Product Management, Services/Support, Training, or HR.
•Experience with software development using Agile CI/CD and proficiency with Atlassian Jira ticketing system.
