Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals and parts needs using real-time information.
  • •Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems using independent judgment.
  • •Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment and follow OSHA requirements when applicable (preferred).
  • •Maintain complete daily electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) and assist with equipment/parts pick-up and delivery.
  • •Provide field mechanic support when required by traveling to customer job sites and assisting with training of lower-level technicians as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position.
  • •Advanced mechanical aptitude with extensive knowledge of construction equipment, schematics, and diagrams.
  • •Must have superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • •High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred; experience in field service, maintenance, and repair preferred.
  • •Valid driver’s license with acceptable record and ability to lift up to 50 pounds; safety-sensitive with a 10-panel drug screen.
