Job Summary

Lead engineering teams building and enhancing authentication products within Mastercard’s Digital Solutions group, focused on e-commerce transaction use cases. Key Responsibilities

•Supervise and coach teams of engineers to build, enhance, and support multiple applications and services for digital payments solutions.
•Collaborate with product owners to design, develop, and launch features and services for new and existing products.
•Recruit and hire engineers, setting objectives and development plans with global leadership and reviewing progress throughout the year.
•Improve team performance through recurring 1-1s, career development management, feedback, coaching, and mentoring at all staff levels.
•Drive engineering productivity, quality, and technology policy compliance and provide strategic thinking for software design and development methodologies for cloud deployments.

Key Requirements

•Demonstrated track record managing development teams with thought leadership, cross-functional influence, and partnerships.
•Extensive experience with server-side backend applications and technologies, including RESTful API and stateless service design and deployment.
•Experience designing and deploying cloud applications using Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, including containerisation technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
•Ability to drive technical review of design and code across services to identify anti-patterns and promote continuous refactoring, while addressing technical debt and operational issues.
•Build robust testing strategies (regression, performance, deployment verification, and release testing) to minimize defects and support production releases.
