Key Responsibilities

  • •Define environmental test plans, including stress profiles, sample sizes, and pass/fail criteria.
  • •Design and model test fixtures in CAD, then instrument and configure hardware and test setups for data acquisition.
  • •Operate equipment and run environmental test campaigns (thermal, humidity, vibration, shock, altitude) while monitoring and investigating failures.
  • •Reduce, document, and report results with plots/visualizations used for disposition and qualification decisions.
  • •Develop and implement lab procedures and best practices; maintain lab equipment, consumables, and work areas, and coordinate with external labs as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of experience in environmental testing, including temperature cycling, vibration, HALT, and HASS.
  • •Self-starting with a growth mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Reliability Engineering.
  • •Proficiency in CAD modeling software, including ANSYS SpaceClaim, NX, or Solidworks.
  • •Knowledge of data acquisition and instrumentation (thermocouples, accelerometers, humidity sensors, and strain gauges), plus familiarity with electronics and failure mechanisms.
