Job Summary

Join the UK Supplier Management Office (SMO) and manage end-to-end third-party lifecycles for Capital One’s Technology/IT supplier category. You’ll serve as Supplier Relationship Manager for key suppliers, manage governance and stakeholder communication, and ensure compliance with third-party management policies across due diligence to offboarding. Work closely with Risk/Governance and Sourcing teams, build supplier knowledge to drive continuous improvement and value, and support contract management through Legal.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as Supplier Relationship Manager for assigned Technology/IT supplier relationships, covering due diligence, selection, contracting, onboarding, monitoring, and offboarding.
•Serve as the primary point of contact across suppliers and internal stakeholders, establishing governance and communication structures.
•Develop deep knowledge of supplier businesses to deliver service, credibility, and longer-term strategic direction for the category.
•Lead discussions with suppliers to drive value back to the business using continuous improvement inputs and new requirements from internal customers.
•Manage supplier performance, risk and relationship oversight to meet business goals and comply with Capital One’s Third Party Management (TPM) policy, including travel as needed.

Key Requirements

•Relevant Supplier Relationship Management experience with demonstrable results, including commercial, risk management, analytical and problem resolution skills.
•Excellent communication, relationship building, and stakeholder management skills.
•Previous risk management experience as a core component, with strong attention to compliance in a highly regulated environment.
•Contracting experience working with legal teams to deliver framework agreements and MSA/SOWs.
•Ability to build strong internal and external relationships and be a team player committed to SMO success.
