Key Responsibilities

•Represent the commercial insureds of Zurich by preparing and trying high complexity, high exposure General Liability and Commercial Auto personal injury cases, including investigation, legal analysis and advice, pleadings and documents, and post-trial activities where appropriate.
•Perform pre-trial discovery, legal research, and hearings with the ability to work independently and with a remote team.
•Utilize strong computer skills and video conferencing for remote collaboration and case management.
•Demonstrate demonstrated case analysis, trial and negotiation skills, and knowledge of the insurance defense litigation environment.
•Collaborate in a team-based environment while maintaining efficient file handling and caseload management.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 150,000 - 180,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Juris Doctor and 7 or more years of experience in the Litigation area
•Active member in good standing of the Texas State Bar
•Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe
•Experience working with Lexis or Westlaw
•Knowledge of the insurance industry, claims and the insurance defense litigation legal environment
