Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the strategic roadmap and execution for accounting infrastructure, including data pipelines, system integrations, and automation platforms for financial reporting and reconciliation.
  • •Partner with Accounting, Finance, and cross-functional engineering teams to translate regulatory and operational requirements into reliable, auditable backend systems.
  • •Lead and mentor a team of engineers, setting technical direction and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • •Improve data accuracy, pipeline reliability, and system scalability to enable faster close cycles and audit readiness.
  • •Guide technical decisions across the engineering and data stack based on hands-on expertise.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of experience in data or software engineering, including 2+ years leading engineering teams.
  • •Hands-on expertise with modern data infrastructure tools such as Fivetran, dbt Cloud, Snowflake, and Workato.
  • •Strong working knowledge of financial processes including revenue recognition, reconciliation, and close workflows.
  • •Experience translating complex regulatory and operational requirements into reliable technical systems.
  • •Distributed-systems experience and familiarity with data quality frameworks and SOX-relevant controls.
