Job Summary

Maintain and repair modern commercial HVAC/R systems across multiple kitchen facilities in the Greater Newark area. You’ll perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and troubleshoot rooftop units, ventilation, refrigeration, and kitchen ventilation equipment, and support site inspections and new facility openings. Use building management systems for monitoring and remote troubleshooting, coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs, and help ensure systems run safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC/R systems (WIC/R, RTUs, exhaust fans, hoods, make-up air units, DOAS systems).
•Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC/R system issues across multiple sites, supporting refrigeration and kitchen ventilation systems.
•Conduct site inspections to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently, and handle basic electrical and plumbing maintenance as needed.
•Use Building Management Systems (BMS) to monitor performance and diagnose issues, and provide remote troubleshooting support to onsite teams and vendors.
•Support new facility openings by verifying installation and system functionality, identifying issues early, and coordinating corrective actions.

Travel: Low travel
