Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and maintain detection and incident response capabilities for security operations.
  • •Triage security alerts and conduct investigations, leading response efforts.
  • •Develop, tune, and maintain detection rules, alerts, dashboards, and supporting SIEM workflows.
  • •Automate detection and response tasks using scripting and integrate security tooling.
  • •Monitor and improve security coverage across endpoints and SaaS platforms, including cloud security monitoring on GCP.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience in incident response and security operations, including triaging alerts and leading investigations.
  • •Strong detection engineering background, including developing, tuning, and maintaining detection rules and alerts.
  • •Hands-on SIEM infrastructure experience with Google SecOps (Chronicle), including onboarding, parsing, rule creation, and dashboarding.
  • •Proficiency monitoring security across endpoints and SaaS, including JAMF MDM (macOS), Google Workspace, Okta, and other applications.
  • •Scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) to automate detection/response tasks and integrate security tooling, with familiarity with cloud security monitoring on GCP.
  • •Solid understanding of common attack techniques, threat intelligence, and frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
  • •Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for investigations.
