Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform standard operations used in the welding process under direct supervision with an assigned mentor or coach.
  • •Weld, braze, and complete prep, post-braze cleanup, final cleanup, labeling, cutting, and hardfacing as required.
  • •Use specified welding equipment to support manufacturing operations of parts and assemblies to meet regulatory requirements.
  • •Maintain welding equipment timely and correctly, using lifting devices, overhead cranes, and material handling equipment.
  • •Perform manufacturing math calculations and post-work inspection of completed work while ensuring equipment and processes meet quality and safety requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 6 months of experience.
  • •Ability to read blueprints and drawings and use precision measuring instruments.
  • •Competence in the use of computers and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • •Follow safety procedures and perform welding assembly processes in accordance with Health, Safety and Environmental standards and policies.
  • •Two years of related experience and welding certification are preferred.
