Key Responsibilities

  • •Guide engineering teams in end-to-end secure system design and implementation as a security subject-matter expert.
  • •Conduct threat modeling, architecture review, security code review, security assessment, and security testing across product and infrastructure layers.
  • •Perform AWS-focused cloud infrastructure security reviews, including IAM and S3 permissions and configuration issues.
  • •Review new Zoom features and functionalities for security vulnerabilities and risks (e.g., OWASP Top Ten, NVD findings, RCE) using manual and automated testing.
  • •Recommend security architecture and configuration improvements (authentication, authorization, network segmentation, container configuration, bastion host setup) and provide hands-on security training and secure coding best practices.

Salary: USD 98,900 - 228,700 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Cyber Security, Computer or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • •5+ years of experience in security, including security testing across web applications, native applications, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure.
  • •Strong understanding of software security architecture, design, threat modeling, secure code review, cryptography, and the SDLC.
  • •Hands-on security experience working with AWS and AWS service components, including identifying design and configuration security gaps.
  • •In-depth knowledge of network-, system-, and application-layer attacks and mitigations; good development experience in Java or another supported language/platform.
