Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently lead strategic sustainability engagements across target-setting, decarbonization, and voluntary and regulatory reporting.
  • •Advise sustainability leaders on advancing sustainability programs and craft the business case with customers.
  • •Stay ahead of emerging sustainability frameworks, regulations, and market developments, translating changes into actionable guidance.
  • •Help develop new products and services by identifying sustainability needs in emerging topics and industries and prototyping value for customers.
  • •Serve as a sustainability thought leader by embedding sustainability intelligence into Watershed products through cross-functional collaboration.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years in an advisory role and 4+ years of professional sustainability experience with demonstrated excellence.
  • •Expertise in corporate decarbonization and familiarity with climate frameworks such as GHGP, PCAF, SBTi, and ISO.
  • •Experience with voluntary and regulatory reporting frameworks including CSRD, CCDAA, ASRS, ISSB, and CDP.
  • •Comfort working with data and thinking clearly about complex problems in fast-paced environments.
  • •Excellent verbal and written communication, including presenting analyses and recommendations to C-suite audiences.
