Key Responsibilities

  • •Organize and arrange safety, on-the-job, operational, and values training for all plant employees.
  • •Facilitate safety and operational orientation for new hires to meet training requirements.
  • •Collaborate with employees and management to develop and maintain career development plans and training needs.
  • •Conduct mill safety reviews, investigations, and audits to monitor compliance with corporate safety directives.
  • •Lead divisional safety practices, chair safety committee meetings, and guide trainers with policy/procedure support; coordinate environmental tests, samples, records, and audits with the environmental team.

Key Requirements

  • •1-2 years of experience in training and development within a health and/or safety role.
  • •Experience managing safety programs.
  • •Ability to support safety as a subject matter expert in OSHA regulations and safety best practices.
  • •Working knowledge of web-based computer applications and Microsoft Office.
  • •College degree in Business or an industrial-related field and/or additional safety coursework is preferred, along with industrial manufacturing experience.
